The Systemdek IIX features a 3-point sprung chassis and AC synchronous motor.

The sub-chassis is formed from a heavy steel plate, reinforced by an aluminum extrusion. It uses an 'Oil pump' type main bearings, teardrop shaped MDF arm board and a glass platter.
