Hi Milpai,

the room is a cellar room, so dimensions are a bit tricky. It's footprint is fairly big (9meter x 4,85meter), but the usable space (where I can walk around) is 5.5 meters x 4,48 meter.

The speakers are now about 110cm from the back wall, distance between them is almost 3 meters. They do like space around them!

Biwiring them is also on the plan, thanks for the reminder :)

If possible, try to use bi-wires with the Quads.
It makes a big difference on these speakers.

Carboncopy,
Very nice system. I totally agree with your take on the Quad 21L. They are phenomenal speakers. I have been using mine for 9 years and don't have the itch to upgrade them. How big is your room and how far have you placed them from the rear and back wall?
Also your decision to go with the same cables throughout the system will reap huge benefits.
Welcome to audiogon and enjoy your music.
