This is a system that brings plenty of detail, speed and energy without loosing any musicality and truth of timbre - I have tried SET, SS, Planars, Ribbons, sealed baffles, ported designs and - IMO this is pretty close to my ideal setup.
I found the DIY route much less costly than buying and having acoustical treatment goods shipped internationally from the USA. Local materials can be used in their raw form and with your sweet equity you can produce a product that is over engineered and out performs mass produced stuff. I'd be glad to send you a write-up I did on building Skyline or poly cylindrical differs, if you're interested.
Thanks Flg2001 for your prompt reply. Thanks for answering my questions. Jazz is a great name for your dog - beats having to call him inside if his name was 'Country & Western' or 'Trance' or 'Acid Rock' or 'Opera!'
I hear many people echo your sentiments that their audio treatments made the biggest difference. You need only take a peek at my System to see that I feel the same way. Congrats and enjoy your warm weather as I freeze up here in Canada !
Congrats on the top notch gear Flg2001! Is the picture caption 'Jazz' the dog's name or your musical preference? I see ARC tube traps in the front corners but they're not listed in your system components. What are the two panels centred across the front wall? DIY absorbers? I am always interested in hearing how others have treated their rooms, so any details would be appreciated. Congrats again!
