Is there a better phonostage available for under $20,000? I don't think so. Not that 
I've heard and I've heard most. One of the main keys, among many, to this phonostage's incredible performance is the fact it uses current to produce gain. Most use voltage and that was fine 20 years ago but todays low impedance carts love current to amp up the gain.

The Grail is dead quiet, delivers dynamics and is just plain musical. 

The Grail is single ended only, both in and out. It has three gain levels. Being a current gain device, adjusting load is no longer a concern. It has two MC inputs, no MM inputs
so please keep that in mind.
