Onkyo engineers designed the C-7000R with a zero-tolerance approach to performance-robbing vibration and electronic interference. Instead of a single, one-piece chassis cover that can resonate and transmit vibration, this player's massive 26-pound frame uses thick, separate aluminum top, front, and side panels to stop vibration its tracks. The die-cast aluminum disc tray further combats resonance, and employs Onkyo's silent disc mechanism for super-smooth and quiet operation. The C-7000R uses physically separate analog and digital circuitry with separate power supplies to prevent any interference. The analog power supply even features a shielded, toroidal transformer for exceptional low-noise performance.

The C-7000R's twin TI Burr-Brown PCM1792 DACs (one for each channel) run in a dual-differential configuration, ensuring high-accuracy digital-to-analog conversion and rejecting noise to provide stunningly lifelike music reproduction. Onkyo's DIDRC (Dynamic Intermodulation Distortion Reduction Circuitry) and thermally regulated high-precision clock mechanism dramatically reduce distortion and timing errors, commonly referred to as "jitter," for highly involving sound that will get your toes tapping.
