For Sale: one Rogue Audio Atlas Magnum tube power amplifier with Black Faceplate.  I would rate the condition of this Rogue Audio Atlas Magnum as very good, 8 out of 10.  Recently, I had this Atlas Magnum serviced by Rogue Audio.  I had a new Top Plate installed to accommodate the larger KT-120 power tubes. The brand new KT-120 power tubes were installed at Rogue Audio.

Because I purchased a pair of Cary Monoblock Amps two weeks after I purchased this Atlas Magnum Amp, I have barely used this Rogue Atlas Magnum Amp.  In the last month however, I have used this Atlas Magnum Amp in my main home system to make sure that it is working perfectly.  This Atlas Magnum tube amp is a warm and very musical amp, very listenable.

The brand new KT-120 power tubes, and the brand new J&J 12ax7 preamp tubes all have only about 100 hours of use since being serviced at Rogue Audio.  I just checked the bias on the Atlas Magnum before I boxed it up.  Two KT-120 tubes were spot on, one tube was down 1 mA and one tube was down 2 mA’s.   I didn’t rebias the Atlas Magnum yet because Rogue Audio recommends waiting until the tube is 4-5 mA’s off before rebiasing.   I am selling this Atlas Magnum Amp because it has been sitting in my closet for a couple of years now taking up space.  I have the original factory Box for the Amp.

If you have any ground loop issues in your Home, this Atlas Magnum or any Rogue Audio Amp may not work well for you because they are sensitive to grounding issues.  So, what that means is that if you live in a Home built before about 1970, a Rogue Amplifier will probably not work well for You.  You will probably get a loud Hum out of both Speakers, and this will ruin your listening Experience. This Rogue Atlas Magnum works perfectly at my Girlfriends Townhouse built in 1975. However, at my House built in 1955, I get the loud Ground Loop Hum from the Atlas Magnum Amplifier.   So, if you think that Rogue Amplifiers will work well in your dwelling, maybe we can come to a deal.  Thank you Happy listening.
