Jaton Corp. Operetta CD 1000B

Excellent CD player from Jaton Corp. Great CD players are becoming harder to find every day. If you are like most of us, you have hundreds of CD's and we will always need a great player to play them. Jaton made three models in the CD 1000 series. The 1000B, or 1000BB as its marked on the unit is the one with true balanced outputs and originally sold for $2900. At my asking price its a no brainer. It uses Mundorf Supreme silver/oil capacitors. Sound is very similar to my Cayin tube CD player. Very musical and detailed. A unique feature are four different filters that can be changed on the fly from the remote: 44/44; 44/88;176/44; and 176/88 (analog/digital).  There is also a volume control on the remote.
