Dynavector DV-XX2 mkII

Up for sale is one immaculate Dynavector XX2 MkII phono cartridge. This is a low-output moving coil design, albeit of moderate enough output (.28 mV) to not require herculean efforts in the accompanying phono stage. Hours are less than 200 (probably more like 100) and it is in excellent shape, with accompanying box/papers/accessories. I had this on a VPI which I then sold, and then picked up a Rega Planar 10 with included Aphetta3 cartridge. Although I loved the Dynavector, I ended up being happy with the sound of the Rega combo, enough to figure that I didn't need to go to the effort (additional spacer and set-up labors) to exchange it out for the XX2 MkII. Lazy? Sure! Let my lack of energy be your gain. I also previously had a Dynavector 20XL, and the XX2 MkII is a major upgrade, and the finest cartridge I had previously used. Only ever used in a dedicated, smoke and pet-free room, as noted previously the cartridge is in excellent shape. I am a long-time Audiogoner and verified PayPal user.
