I have not tried many other different positions, but I like the current setting. I get a bit more base if it is pushed back, but not as much difference compared to other speakers. Maybe the bass trap does the job?

Nice.
Did you notice any difference in sound having the speakers you further back also? I am thinking of doing the same thing?
