Description

I've been building a system since college days with some interesting pieces (excluding the usual Pioneer SA and SX series stuff I had a Rabco ST-4 and Beogram 1800 (Type 524X) Turntables and AR-8 Speakers. Then marriage and a couple of kids took me out of the hobby scraping by and only affording Akai Receiver and Cassette equipment. Thought I was stepping up when I got my Bose 401's. Flash forward to 1999 and got into my first upgrades in 15 years. Complete set of NAD Silver Series, B+W N-804's, MMF 5.1 Turntable and I was content until this year when I upgraded my 10 year old electonics. I thank my good friend for keeping me engaged n this hobby of ours. Happy Listening!

System edited: Retired my 10 Year Old NAD S-500 CD Player and upgraded to the Ayre CX-7emp. Right from the power up I could tell this was light years better than my trusty NAD. What will it sound like after 100+ hours. I'm thinking incredible!

System edited: Just retired my 10 year old Apature XLR and RCA interconnects and replaced with MIT S3 Prolines. Always thought that the whole cable thing was a bit tasting of "snake oil" BUT I'm now a beleiver! The whole sound stage opened up, stronger bass punch at lower volumes...MORE MUSIC. AND this is just by plugging them in. Cant wait til they are properly "Ridden" in! Happy Listening!

That is a very relaxing setting..Kudos on that. I Personally don't think you can go wrong with B&W's.

With such a nice view, you need not be in a hurry to get a new TV. The nice room, very nice gear. Great area to relax.

Your TV is an antique. Get a Samsung 46"LCD for $1K and mount it on da wall. B&W speakers are under rated

LOL "Fight" You are absolutely right in your statement. But I might be able to find enough for both! :-)
