Spencer, you are too kind! But Yes, for once in my life I got lucky and bought speakers which must be placed against the wall, the only place for them right now. This did not matter to me when I was making a choice between SBLs, ProAcs, and Meadowlarks. Until we moved into this new house I always thought that I made a wrong choice: should have bought Meadowlarks.
This room is impossible! I know that if I get DSP room correction it will go nuts trying to calculate the situation. Luckily (again!), because of soo much heavy wood and all angles it sounds pretty decent: lively but not excessively so. Evidently, preamp balance has to be shifted toward Left speaker, remaining imbalance around midbass region gets "glazed over" by ER-1 sub.

I name your system, "Really Cool".

One suggestion, have you played with speaker placement further from the walls behind? It looks like a gorgeous but challenging room... Unless those speakers are designed specifically for on wall, most benefit from a little breathing room. Cheers,
Spencer

Surprised to see a Naim fan state side!

Yes, I did!
Almost grabbed Naim DBLs off a-gon but the idea of another NAP250 for the active mode stopped me. Speakers must go against the wall and this limits my options... Put ProAc sub as a temp solution, not the best choice, but kinda stuck here.

Wow, you can seriously Name that gear :-)
Nice system sevs. Have you thought of upgrading your loudspeakers, just to match with the sources and amps?
