I was not satisfied with the support of Aerial while Peter @ PBN is the very best when it comes to supporting his equipment, plus the Compact reference completely blow the 20T's away in sounstage , bassresponse and coherence.
I have been using the speaker level input on my SW12s and used them for music only. The downside with this is that the speaker level input can not be combined with LFE because it will produce a huge overlap in bass for the front L+R speakers. (I have sent an Email to Aerial and encouraged them to add a dedcated LFE input on the SW12)
I have ordered a pair of Audio Physic subs that I plan to use for music and I guess I then will use the SW12s for movies only.
The Cullen mod of the PS Audio DACIII is incredible. Both my deswcription and that of my frend Lowell G. who is a pro are highlighted on the advertisement for the sale of these by Rick Cullen aka "wyred for sound" Check it out. Good luck, Mike
thanks, When I moved I had to leave a 24'w x 26'L x 10'H listening and theater room I had constructed.The house I bought in the Dallas area had a "media room" and it was much smaller (14'w x 18'L x 8'H), needed the dedicated outlets, double sheetrock/cellulose insulation, and I am still working on it-sound treatment is next. The "cubbyhole"-Nicho was the logical idea since the attic surrounds this room. I have a half door behind so I can get to the back of everything. Much easier!
