    • JVC TT-101 with custom built Plinth
Closest thing to a recording console with 280lbs, 40" tall CLD solid birch plywood plinth.
    • EMT HSD-6
Full bodied, impactful cartridge, very close to Decca sound without the potential tracking issues
    • GB Tools Zeta
Serious arm. Massive gimbaled bearing. Very dynamic and great match with EMT cartridges
    • McAlister Audio Modified PH-6 phono stage
Battery operated solid state MC stage, feeding 6922/12AT7 tube MM stage, no feedback, separate, oversized, choked power supply, Duelund CAST Cu capacitors
    • Joule Electra LA-100 mkIII
The sexiness of the 5751 tube sound. This one is modified with 8 Duelund CAST Cu capacitors in the signal path which brought it to a different level (more muscular, dynamic, coherent and smooth)
    • Joule Electra VZN-80
OTL, Closest thing to a wire with a gain. Area heater but warms my heart too...:-)
    • BIS Vivat
Smooth, transparent full bodied and dynamic.
    • BIS Audio Maestro
    Good match with my system
    • Meridian G98
Not a digital guy so not an expert. Prefer analogue any day of the week, It's relatively smooth so I use it for content only.
    • Westlake Audio Lc3W12V
In 15 years in this hobby, these are the closest speakers to live sound. Accurate tonality, image like a point source, incredible depth and lifelike dynamics and instrument weight and presence.
