I got the subwoofer in the mid eighties. I loved spending time at Speaker Craft when they were in St Louis They built me a satellite/subwoofer using their SC-1 full-range bookshelfs and a custom passive subwoofer and crossover. It was designed to sit flat like a coffee table, but here I have it sitting on one side.
Much of the system has given 3 decades of service already!
For the eagle-eyed, an Onkyo is pinch hitting for the Acurus until I change the power supply capacitors.
