Description

Total revamp over the last few years. Still more to be tried and tweaked. Cables are mostly Cullen and Zu and aren’t nearly as messy as they appear - at least not the important ones.

Rack is DIY welded steel with birch plywood shelves on rubber strips.

@thosb the Aegir is good enough that I am content until I connect the PrimaLuna again. Not sure if it’s just tube magic or the refinement you expect for 4x the money. Not really a fair matchup. 
I had the Qutest first but wanted to try R2R. I was surprised how close they are to my ear. My preference ended up being for the slightly more detailed Qutest. I think choice of tube can make a big difference for the MHDT though. I didn’t really care for the stock tube.

Nice set-up - curious how you like the Aegir vs the PL?  Also the Chord vs the MHDT?
