Linn Sara 9

Classic  and rare Linn 2-way full-range speaker incorporating Linn’s excellent Isobarik bass loading system.  The serial numbers (21031 and 21032) date these speakers to the very end of the Linn Sara production run in 1989.  Cabinets are black (Ash I think) and are in great condition for the speaker’s age with virtually no blemishes on any face except the bases which show the usual damage from spiked stand use.  I bought replacement foam grilles for the speakers a few years ago and these are in as-new condition.  Used for the last few years with a Naim NAC-72 and Naim NAP-180 pre/power combo (listed separately) these speakers are capable of producing a really musical and satisfying sound.  The speakers are designed for bi-wiring.  I will include a set of Naim speaker cables fitted with bridged banana plugs for the speaker end and single banana plugs for the amplifier end in the sale.  I’m afraid the original packing boxes are long gone but I will pack carefully for shipping and provide a re-print of the original user manual.

Note that I also have a set of spiked, sand-filled stands suitable for use with the Sara.  The stands are available for an extra CAD100 if required.
