Aric Audio "Super 300B SET" Excellent condition!

Up for sale is a 2 month old Super 300B SET that was built and used by me in my shop, in excellent condition and featuring several updates/upgrades over the current model I sell on my website for $5,575. This amplifier is a two-chassis design with an outboard power supply that uses dual 5U4GB rectifiers and a pair of OA3 gas-charged regulator tubes. Two high quality twist-lock umbilical cables connect the power supply to the amplifier. They ae both 100% hand-made, and point to point wired in my shop in Massachusetts and will include a full compliment of new or NOS tubes and a 2 year warranty. 
Upgrades consist of Miflex copper-foil PIO coupling capacitors between the 6SN7 SRPP input and 6V6 triode-strapped driver stage, and custom-wound Transcendar (made in the USA) interstage transformers with silver-coated lead out wires. The output transformers are also made by Transcendar and feature 8 and 16 ohm speaker output taps. The primary impedance is 3Kohms for 9 watts per channel and low distortion from the 300B output tubes. Full details can be found on my website of the stock amplifier and its specifications. 
I will include a pair of NOS RCA 5U4GB rectifiers, a pair of NOS OA3 regulators, a pair of new production Tug Sol 6SN7s, a pair of new production TAD 6V6GTs and a pair of new Genalex Gold Lion 300Bs with the amplifier. 
This amplifier does not have the classis rolled-off highs or "wooly" bass that many 300B amps are known for as it has a robust driver capable of delivering over a watt into the 300Bs grid and at a low impedance. This easily overcomes the Miller factor (capacitance) and when the 300B draws grid current (which is does at any power level over 4-5 watts) the driver and interstage transformer can handle this, so the high end is preserved and bass remains deep, taught and extended. The 6SN7 in the front end coasts along and simply amplifies the input signal and then feeds this signal to the driver. The amplifier is VERY transparent, clean, detailed and still has the lush midrange that the 300B is known for. 
I would recommend speakers in the 93 db and up range for listening in a larger room, or speakers in the 90 db and up range for lower level near-field listening for best results. I use this amp to power a pair of 12" 3-way speakers with an array of 4 midrange drivers and a ribbon tweeter with fairly elaborate crossovers which are 97 db at 1 watt and 8 ohms across the board. This amplifier will easily overpower a 12' x 16' room with these speakers. Worth noting is there is zero noise with your ear to the speaker even with very efficient speakers. Additionally this amplifier can be driven to full output directly from a 2 volt source such as a DAC, or music streamer. It does have an ALPS volume control on the front of the top panel as well. The amp is auto-biased so no biasing is needed when tubes are changes. 
Note: In the photos I'm using my EML 300BXLS tubes, these will not be included and the amp will include Genalex Gold Lion 300Bs which are excellent sounding tubes as well.  I've added 2 pictures at the end of the gallery which highlight two very small imperfections in the painted finish. One is very hard to see without a lighted magnifying glass but I wanted to put them out there.
