AudioQuest Comet DBW Pair 6ft.

NOTE:  I am in FL until end of Feb 2021.  This equipment is at my home in the Atlanta area.  I will accept Buy It Now requests, with the understanding that shipment will not occur until 1st week of March 2021.  A small price to pay for a really good deal. 

Audioquest Comet Double Bi-wired 6ft speaker cables.  In the DBW configuration (i.e. 2 runs of 6ft for each channel), each cable has 4 x PSS Silver and 12 x PSC+ strands – the same amount of silver and 3 times the amount of copper as in the AQ Meteor cable.  Audioquest cut a pair of 12 ft Comets to make these 6ft DBW and terminated with the 1000 series silver spades on both ends ($600) (will include a copy of the RMA.)  72v DBS (new A23 batteries included). Richard Vandersteen recommends the DBW cable configuration for all speakers that are bi-wirable.  Closest 2019 equivalent would be AQ William Tell DBW Silver @ $7390.  $1995.  (Comet 2018 MSRP $5600).  Reason for sale:  replaced by AQ K-2 DBW cables.

Payment:  I accept credit/debit cards, bank & personal checks, money orders and wire transfers (preferred).  Cards are processed in Audiogon via Stripe.  When your cards, check/MO clears ACH or wire transfer posts to my account, I’ll ship the next business day.  Credit Card payments (via my Stripe account) take 2 days to process and I will ship the next business day after I get notification that funds have been received. No Pay Pal.

Returns:  All sales are final. Please be sure this is the equipment you want and that it is compatible with your existing equipment.  You can find reviews in all of the high-end Hi-Fi magazines that will answer all of your questions.  Having said that, I’ll entertain a one-time request to return merchandise for an exigent reason, subject to a prepayment of a 10% take-back fee plus shipping and insurance.  I am not a used high-end equipment lending library. All equipment is fully functional at shipping and in the physical condition as shown in photos or as stated in the description.  The purchaser must settle with the carrier if the equipment is damaged in transit.

Editorial Comment:  All equipment (except the Comet speaker cables and AQ WEL Signature interconnects) is factory original single owner (me) purchased new from authorized dealers.  The speaker cables and interconnect were purchased off Audiogon and sent to Audioquest for cutting and re-termination.  Audioquest will not work on counterfeit cables.  All of the equipment is in excellent shape with only minor cosmetic blems as shown in photographs or as described.  All the equipment pays homage to the music.  You will absolutely not be disappointed.  I am not a jobber for used audio equipment.  I listened to this equipment in my personal system for a number of years until I upgraded in 2018.  Here’s my current system:

Speaker cables:  Audioquest K-2 DBW.
