Demo M-2500 Push Pull KT150 Pentode with unique 5AU4 tube rectifier - Black Chassis

With the 5AU4 tube rectifier, this new amp design has hit the sweet spot between SET and typical push-pull amplifiers.  The M2500 maintains the micro detailing, texture overall finesse across the midrange SET designs is known for while improving the dynamics, slam factor, and extended and focused bass.

"I ordered the Allnic M-2500 push-pull monoblocks with a pair of KT150 tubes for 100 watts per channel. The amps are 40 lbs each so not too heavy to sling around by oneself, especially with the incorporated handles making for an easy grip. Mine are silver and they are, in my opinion, a beautiful design, managing to appear both rock solid and streamlined – and they are very solid feeling; there’s no play anywhere in the chassis and they’re very “dead” to a knock. I find the smooth faceplate with the single current meter particularly attractive. It and all the tubes illuminate nicely, if you like that sort of thing.


Most important to me is that they drive my speakers to live/life-size levels and sound amazing. They’re dead quiet with nothing playing (speakers are manufacturer-rated 95db ribbon hybrids that still love power) and with music provide lovely transparency and air, an open, wide and deep soundstage with great layering and instrument and voice separation, beautiful decays, and very fast, articulate and deep bass. I’ve tried different brands and vintages of 5U4GB rectifiers and first stage 6AH6 tubes and they all change the amps’ character, individually and in combination, making the M-2500s “lighter” and more “solid-state-like”, or “denser” and more SET-like. I love the flexibility this tube-rolling provides, which makes for great potential to match with different preamps and sources."

These monoblock amplifiers were presented at a regional audio club then placed in storage.  Our new listening room will feature the lower wattage A-2500 for higher-efficiency speakers.  This is an excellent opportunity to own these wonderful amplifiers.
