Entreq Poseidon Ground Box - 6 months old and barely used.

Due to some major downsizing of my system my nearly new Entreq Poseidon Ground Box is regrettably for sale. This has made some major improvements to my current setup.

The Entreq range of ground boxes are designed to remove noise and pollutants present in the signal path. By removing these unwanted pollutants we lower the noise floor and subsequently improve the performance of the connected product. This improves dynamics, detail retrieval whilst remaining natural and organic in presentation.

The mighty Poseidon is effectively 3 independent Olympus Minimus’s in one rather heavy box!

It’s the same width as a Silver Tellus, is a little taller, quite a bit deeper and considerably heavier. It offers an almost limitless number of grounding options and is fast becoming the reference point within the range of Ground Boxes. The ability of the Poseidon is considerably higher than any other Ground box (apart from the flagship Olympus Tellus), due to the mineral mixture it contains. Compared to the Silver Minimus, Olympus Ten, Tellus 2 and Silver Tellus the Poseidon has so much more capacity and ability, unlocking previously hidden textures in recordings you didn’t know were there with greater air and space around the musicians who are playing.

By having all 3 ground posts independant from one another means you could take an integrated amplifier and ground the negative speaker outputs on the 2 outside posts and ground the input of amplifier on the centre post. If you have a pre-power combination you could also ground this way. The options are almost limitless and can vary from system to system.

I can offer a friendly word of warning with the Poseidon – don’t listen to one unless you are ready to buy one, it’s a bit of gamechanger in my opinion and once you’ve heard it…….
