Benz Micro Glider HO

This is a Benz Micro Glider H2.  It's a High-Output Moving Coil cartridge.

The H2 is the later version of this cart and the output is 2.5mV.

It will work with any phono stage; the output is high enough that you don't need an MC phono stage or a step-up transformer.

The cart itself is quite heavy at 13 grams.

I sent it to Soundsmith a few years ago because the cantilever had a little flex.  They tightened it up and said the tip was fine and didn't need re-tipping.  So this is all original.

This is one of 3 carts that I've used over the past few years.  I'm not sure how many hours are on it, but a decent number.  But it still has lots of life yet.  It's the best sounding cart I've ever owned, and I've had much more expensive ones.  It seems the most all-around balanced to me, unlike a Koetsu that I owned or a couple of Van den Huls.
