For sale is a previously owned Simaudio Moon I-5080 stereo integrated amplifier in good condition.

This amplifier has some minor scratching and blemishes on the top plate but the front faceplate is in very good condition. It performs perfectly and sounds great.

This is a superb high-current amplifier delivering 80 watts into 8 ohms and 140 watts into a 4 ohm load. It has 6 RCA inputs, a tape output, and even a preamp output.

Technical aspects:

•    An oversized power supply
•    A custom proprietary toroidal transformer design with lower magnetic, electrical and thermal loss, yielding a much better power transfer and lower regulation factor, resulting in improved current speed and better dynamics
•    An extremely short capacitor-free signal path measuring under 20 inches in length from input RCA's to output binding posts, eliminating virtually all potential sources of interference and producing a sonically faster transient response
•    Gain section using a Crystal microprocessor functioning as a "shunt to ground" that doesn't degrade sonic performance regardless of the setting
