Up for sale is a pair of Stax SR5 Earspeakers and a SRD7 Adapter. It's kept in great conditions both cosmetic and operational. If you like Stax Electrostatic Earspeakers and don't want to spend too much for the new models, it's a great opportunity to own one complete set with a great price.

This SR-5 is a well known model with a lot of good compliments on the internet. They are very non-fatiguing and sweet sounding with a pretty good soundstage, very nice mids, rolled off in the bass and very high treble. The sound is beautiful and I find them very enjoyable and musical. I listen to mine a lot. They are especially good with piano and string music, decent with vocals. They are not for someone who wants booming bass.

Assuming you have a stereo amp that can drive them, this is a real bargain: I like mine better than any dynamic headphone I've ever had, including Sony, or even the Denon AH-D7000. At current prices, the SR-5 may be the perfect starter Electrostatic headphone.

It's important to note that this is local model and using 117V AC power source. It has no need to use any step up or step down transformer like all other imported models. It's much more safe and easy to use as the right voltage connection is especially important when using the old electronic device.
