This is a great pair of headphones. Sent in to Stax for an update and they came back terrific. However, I'm just not using them very much. Incredible transparency and tremendous top end and midrange. Vocals are spectacular on this set up. If you need a pair of headphones and want super high end and a reasonable price and most of all plan to use them regularly, this is a great deal! I have conservatively rated it 7/10 due to age, but they are in really very good shape.
