B&W Bowers & Wilkins CM2 CONCEPT 90 TOWER LOUDSPEAKERS RARE Originally $2800. Condition is Good due to their age only. I am the second owner, but I have owned them for 23 years! They were well taken care of, but I have lost one rear grill cap and one screw. They sound as good as the day that I first bought them. They have never been in storage or abused in any way. The serial numbers are consecutive. They were made in England!. They are in such good condition, especially for their age, that they are in our Great Room and still get compliments to this day. However, I am moving to a multi-channel system in that room, and I do not have any room to keep them. If you are looking, you probably already know what they are. They were released in 1987 and were in the first batch of B&W speakers to use Kevlar drivers. They could be purchased as CM1 bookshelf speakers for $1600/pair or you could add the bass modules for $1200 to take it to $2800 for the pair. 48Hz -20,000kHz +/- 1.5 dB. 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter, ferrofluid cooled; 5-inch Kevlar midrange; 2 x 5.2-inch bass drivers in a ported matrix-braced enclosure. They are nearly 40 inches tall, and though narrow, the base is approximately 10 x 10. They have consecutive serial numbers 01233 and 01234.
