This Philips SACD 1000 was modified by EMM Labs in Canada to be the transport for the EMM labs DCC2 DAC, or, serve as a stand alone CD/SACD player. There is a switch in back for either.
As a stand alone player, it sounds better than many of today's players but when paired with the DCC2 DAC, it really steps up to the plate with a full, rich dynamic sound.
I have a DCC2 listed separately and will gladly look at offers for the pair.
