This has been our bedroom system for about 8 years. I'm selling it only because of an upgrade. The receiver and CD player need to stay together for this sale because the remote works for both (power, mute, and volume only for the receiver), so it would be foolish to separate them.
Electronically and mechanically, everything works just fine. There's no volume control static. There are no scratches, bruises, or dings on the units. (On me, well, that's another matter.) The manuals are close to new condition. The remote has new batteries.
They'll be triple-boxed for shipping -- the original boxes inside the shipping boxes they came in inside a double-wall FedEx box (both units shipped together in one large box) wrapped in an enigma. The shipping charge will be the actual cost for 60 pounds plus insurance. (The FedEx website shows about $85 to Chicago; yours might be less or more, of course.) I'll cover the cost of the FedEx box and other shipping materials if needed.
