The combination of the D800 and the Purist Audio cable is really stunning.
I have rated it as a 7 due to a very small tear in one of the ear pads and a gap in the sheath of the cable (see pictures). Neither affect the sound at all. The termination of the cable is 1/4. It also comes with the original box and stock cables.
I have set the retail price at $4,719, which is $3,799 for the D800 and $920 for Purist audio cable. Both were acquired from an authorized dealer. Price includes shipping in the continental US and PayPal fees.
