Superb condition store demo Pro-Ject DAC Box DS digital-to-analog converter in Silver Finish. DAC comes in original box and packing with owner’s manual, power supply, and USB cable. This product has been recently discontinued by Pro-Ject.

Unit is rated 9/10 for very light use as a demo. Outer box shows some light wear.

Note: There is a protective film over the front display that shows slightly in the photos - there are no blemishes on the front display.

About DAC Box DS The Pro-Ject DAC Box DS performs superbly with conventional digital sources using optical or coaxial inputs. It also excels using a USB audio interface, making the DAC Box DS an ideal choice for computer audio applications.

The USB audio interface supports up to 24/192kHz HD music file data in fully asynchronous mode. Using the exceptional 8 X Oversampling PCM1792 chipset, usually found in DACs costing considerably more, the DAC Box DS delivers unparalleled audiophile-grade sound quality.

The audio section features an ultra linear circuit topology for smooth analog-like fidelity and two user-selectable filter settings (steep and optimum phase) for tailoring sound to your own personal preference. The large and bright LCD display shows selected input, incoming bit-depth, filter setting and sampling frequency.
