| Are the circuit boards green or brown? Boards are brown. |
| Brown circuit boards means that these were initially built as REF 250 and were later upgraded to REF 250SE's, correct? I believe that is correct. |
| What are the current tube hours? thanks I don't know that. I do know that they are store demos. We do targeted demos, so pieces are only set up for specific customers, so very limited use. Knowing Audio Research's stringent tube screening - many tubes they buy are rejected at the factory, tube life should be good. Tubes are by their nature unpredictable, however. |

| There's a tube counter, unit in hour, inside the amp. Turn it on each mono and read it. The manual makes no reference to a tube counter. This is our demo, which spent 99% of its time here on a shelf, so I expect very few hours on them. |
