Nestorovic Labs Type 5AS

If you know you know—these are some of the finest speakers ever made. Built by hand by the studio of legendary McIntosh amplifier designer Mile Nestorovic with a unique two sub design that hits Really Hard, fantastic reproduction, and some really fine spatial dynamics (in my opinion). 

I purchased these from an estate sale and they were painted a heinous 80s white to match the grills. I've retained the grills, which could use a little cleaning, and stripped the paint off as carefully as possible to reveal the original veneer, which has been finished very lightly with some furniture wax. There is still a bit of paint on the back panels as I didn't want to scrape any more of the original printing off—restore or veneer further to your taste!

Speakers appear to have original subs—it certainly sounds and looks that way. There are (as you can see) two different midrange domes. These are the least essential/expensive part and it doesn't seem to make a difference to my ears. In all other aspects they appear to be matched.

See second-to-last picture for the only real flaw... sadly my scraper slipped while sloughing the white paint and I put a small hole in foam and ding in the speaker. The speaker is fine but there is a very slight vibration sound at (very) high volumes from the foam, so you may want to re-foam.
