Vienna Acoustics Mahler-Flame Beechwood

I am reluctantly offering my flagship Vienna Acoustics "Mahler" full range speakers. I am the second owner. They are the natural heavily figured Flamed Beechwood. The wood grain appears to be almost iridescent. This was considered through the year 2011 to be among the finest sounding and most beautifully built speakers for anywhere near their price. The internal structure, crossover and drivers are state of the art in quality and design. The dual side mounted 10 inch woofers are sourced from Eaton of Germany (they have a unique honey combed texture), the dual midrange drivers and soft domed tweeters are specially modified Scanspeak drivers. I encourage you to take the time to read through the numerous reviews and Forums praising these speakers. 

 As indicated, they are genuinely full range, capturing nearly the very lowest octaves and the full treble range, never hard or amusical. The midrange performance exceeded the top of the line Spendors that I owned before them. At the time, that Spendor model and the Harbeth 40 series were considered to have the most authentic mid-range for dynamic speakers. What also won me over, is the more realistic sound staging and outstanding scale of every style of music! They are boxless, always providing generous ambience in any decent recording, not just "audiophile" pressings. 

 I have used them in a large room (14x23) and my present room which is only 9ft. wide by 20 ft. long, short ceilings. I use good equipment,  but they sound much better than expected in that room. They are surprisingly efficient and have a 6 ohm, 90 db efficiency rating. The cabinets are completely finished in Beechwood, including the backs.  There is no fading, the finish is lustrous! They are NOT cosmetically mint. There are some small marks, perhaps the worst, is a very thin 4 inch scratch on top of one speaker. Because of the color and graining, I rarely am aware of these flaws. Light spots as seen in the photos, are reflections. The black bases, have some touch ups. They have not been exposed to sun, children or any pollutants. The drivers look and sound perfect!  
 
The specifications are below, they are pretty easy to fit into many environments. The elegant design and appearance make any room look better. 
 
 I am only selling them because I am 70 and have some severe problems with arthritis. They weigh 150 pounds each. I am willing to ship them (I have the original wood crates), but they will have to go by Freight. Costs will vary, I would prefer a Buyer who can send pre-paid shipping labels, as a business owner, etc. . I am quite willing to offer Local Pickup, using appropriate health precautions. I live 150 miles north of Minneapolis, Mn. It would be difficult, but not impossible for me to deliver or meet part way. Let's talk about it! 
 
 I have the spikes and Owner's Manual. I use anti-vibration pads only to make them easier for me to move them. These speakers will be worth your efforts, I am confident of that! I will pay the Paypal Fees, I will list shipping at $800.00. (I got quotes). They will weigh about 210 pounds per crate.  The shipping will be higher for some destinations!  This sale is for the USA only.
 
 Most important, take the time to look over my long term perfect record on both Audiogon and Ebay (100% Perfect Feedback score of 1850). I use "thegotoguy01". I even have a perfect score on the US Audio Mart. These speakers are accurately described, especially the performance. I normally offer returns of my items, not so much with these.
