These speakers are in very good condition. This is a major league speaker in terms of its design and its sound. There are some,"nicks" in the finish around the bottom rear ports on the back panel. The front and sides are completely clean with the exception of one barely noticeable small scratch that I believe is shown in picture number four displayed here. In order to see the scratch you must bend down and get about a foot away from the speaker. A few of the, "elastic string grills" are a little stretched out but again, you have to get very close to notice this and it is not visible or noticeable from listening distance. These are heavy, beautifully finished speakers with very stiff cabinets to enhance resonance and standing wave control. These cabinets are unbelievably inert. The high frequencies, mid-range and bass are spectacular with the speaker!
Sam Tellig of Stereophile Magazine wrote that, "The Sonus Faber Cremona is the finest cabinet-built speaker I have heard for under $10,000/pair."
I personally have never had a better sounding more beautiful speaker. I will be very sad to see them go.
