Resonessence Labs Invicta Mirus Pro Signature

The Mirus Pro Signature is the highest level of the Resonessence Labs Invicta DAC platform. It has custom FPGA, 8 DACs per channel, fully balanced, selectable digital filters, and it sounds amazing. This was made by the same ESS engineers who made the Sabre DACs so they know how to get the best sound.

Also has built in SD card slot for direct playback of FLAC files with no other transport needed. I had an Innuos Zenith and sold it because the built in playback sounded better. Of course it also has optical, BNC, AES, and USB inputs, so you are covered no matter how you use it. I will include a nice 256GB Samsung SD card filled with DSD and high resolution PCM for your listening enjoyment.    

It also has high quality volume control if you want to run it directly to your amp and skip the preamp. I did this for a while and it sounded wonderful, very transparent. The whole thing is simple to control with the included Apple remote, so you can just run this and an amp/speakers or active speakers and that's all you really need.  

I've owned this for about 2.5 years now, which is a very long time for me to stick with a DAC. It replaced my PS Audio DirectStream and sounded much better to my ears. I auditioned competitors from Bricasti Design, EMM Labs, Audio Research, Metrum Acoustics, and many more. None of them sounded as good as the Mirus Pro Sig. The only thing that eventually displaced it was the dCS Rossini with the matching Master Clock. Which costs a lot more so not really a fair comparison.

Unit is essentially in mint condition. Everything works as it should, no scuffs or issues that I can find but maybe if you look with a magnifying glass you might see something. Biggest problems are fingerprints and dust which are common problem on black equipment.
