VPI Industries TNT-4 w/ JMW 12.5 Tonearm; Tri-Pully; SDS speed control + (Many Upgrades)

Original owner selling longtime reference table: A quasi VPI TNT 4 w/ flywheel + tri-pulley; with the TNT 4 platter (25 lbs. composite of Aluminum, cork, lead and derlin) and includes upgraded TNT5 bearing assembly; upgraded stainless/derlin clamp; upgraded 300 RMP motor; SDS speed controller, strobe disk and upgraded JMW 12.5 tone arm w/ VPI silver/copper wire with counter intuitive scale; upgraded arm board with metal underside and optional blue isolator feet for motor isolation (see photos). I started with the TNT Jr. and upgraded over the years to this configuration. I reverted to elephant feet combined with brass footer and maple blocs to act as vibration sinks (see note 2). This set-up is incredibly musical yet detailed, with a big soundstage, deep-full bass, liquid mid-range and extended highs. The set up has been well cared for and maintained in a non-smoking dedicated sound room however, there are minor cosmetic blemishes on the plinth and tone arm from use/age, which I conservatively rate as 8/10. All 6-factory boxes, manuals, set-up tools included. You will be hard pressed to find a better sounding table under $10K+.

Note 1: The cartridge and brass footers are NOT included.
Note 2: The table does NOT have the air bladder supports. As mentioned, I upgraded the table over the years and got rid of the air bladder system, as I did not like the fussy upkeep and blurriness imparted on the image. I reverted to the upgraded TNT jr elephant feet combined with brass footers and maple blocks to act as vibration sinks which provided an impressive improvement on clarity, bass punch – tightness. As shown in the photos this tweak is recommended for best performance.
