Audio Note (UK) M-8 phono Upgraded with M9 parts

This was a dealers personal unit. When I bought it in 2016 it had M10 output transformers in it. New Galahad power supply boards were installed about 2 years before I bought it. Ben Jacoby of HEAR in NYC has done the work. I had recently bought a M9, one of the first units built, and sent it to Ben to have it brought up to current specs. He took the M10 output transformers from the M8 and put them into the M9 and put the M9 output transformers into the M8 and made sure everything in the M8 is working properly.

I just heard from Ben. IF you could get Audio Note to build you this same unit, the cost would be somewhere around $60,000.

I just had someone complain about the way I have written my ad. They sent me several lengthy comments about using capital letters, the length of time this piece has been listed and the fact that I can't remember my original asking price. Like everyone on every site I am interested in selling my items, I am not trying to be unfriendly, just selling my items to the honest buyers who want the item(s) listed for sale. I don't care how someone writes their ad, I am just interested in what they are selling. If you are honestly interested in what I am selling, make me a reasonable offer. Otherwise, don't waste my time crying about my ad. It is NOT the seller's responsibility to provide research on any item he/she is selling. That is the buyers responsibility.
